Prescriptions at Wembury Surgery
Wembury Surgery is a Dispensing Surgery. This means most patients are able to collect their medication direct from the Surgery Dispensary.
Repeat medications for all patients are issued on a calendar monthly basis in line with NHS England guidance. The only exceptions to this are contraceptives and some types of hormone replacement therapy. This may be different to what you have experienced previously but on the basis of guidelines, equity and minimising wastage, this is our Practice Policy.
