How it works

For urgent or “on the day” issues, we have an AM and PM duty doctor telephone call list. You can phone the surgery when the phone lines are open from 08:30 to 18:00.

The morning appointments are released at 08:30 and the afternoon appointments at 13:00

For less urgent issues, there are:

• Internet pre-bookable telephone slots. You can use the NHS app or Systmonline to book these - see the link to Patient online service below
• Online consultations - see link below
• Slots booked directly through 111 if you contact them.

Types of appointments

At Wembury Surgery, we offer different appointments to help you get the care you need as soon as possible.

Online Consultation

We aim to respond to your online consultation within 48 hours.

Urgent appointments

If your appointment is urgent, we’ll arrange for a GP to see you on the same day.

You can also call NHS 111 for general medical advice.
